Weeksville Green: September 2025 Farmer’s & Community Market

Sat, Sep 13, 2025 @ 12:00 pm 5:00 pm

On Saturday September 13th Weeksville Greenmarket is bringing together harvest and memory.

From 12-5 pm, our market will have late summer produce, and a dynamic lineup of Black-owned vendors offering books, art, wellness goods, and more. Fresh fruits and vegetables will be available from GrowNYC, with full access to EBT/SNAP and Health Bucks.

This month, the Green Market also becomes a space for preserving stories. In collaboration with NATAL , we join the first annual Black Storytelling Week, a holiday dedicated to passing down Black family history. Alongside shopping, you can take part in free zine-making workshops, sit for family portraits, record your personal oral histories, and join in restorative yoga and health screenings.

Come to stock up on produce, connect with neighbors, and carry forward stories that will last beyond the season.
